Today a new toy for Sorsha arrived - the"Catch me if you can 2".
Despite its easy mechanism, she is totally in love with it!
As her playing with any toys that don't involve food is a rather recent development, seeing her jump around chasing after the feathers makes me stupidly happy.
Today I brought in Sorsha in the morning for neutering.
In the evening, after a day of work at home, I picked her up again. Everything went fine, no complications. She was just still drugged and therefor double as cuddly as usual.
今朝はソーシャを不妊手術するために動物病院に連れて行った。
一日中在宅勤務した後、迎えに行った。手術は無事に終えて、別に異常なし。
しかし、薬のせいですごく甘えてきてた(笑)
When it turned night and the drugs had worn off, Sorsha continuously gave me the stink eye.
Guess she really didn't like me making her go through surgery... ^^;
In order to have Sorsha eat less frantically and get her some entertainment while I'm gone, I decided to create a little Activity Board. And she loves it!
I used an unused shelf-board, several toilet-paper rolls and a few stripes of cardboard. It was really easy to make and with 3 different stations it gives a variation of play-methods.
I slept the first night in the same room as Sorsha,hoping she would get used to being around me.
When coming back after work, she was actually going out of her cage to greet me. I had a hard time getting out of my coat because she was so desperate for cuddles!
Must have been lonely all alone at home, the little one ♥
On March 8, 2016 the prior rough idea of 'I want to get a cat' turned into an actual plan, as Sorsha, the cutest stray our workplace had to offer, spent the time during our lunch break with us.
Now, after the weather cleared and Sorsha came out again, we lured her in with food and with Sorsha in a well prepared cat carrier, I took the afternoon off and after having her checked out by the vet brought her home.
I'm a foreigner living and working in Japan since several years. I currently live a purrfect life with two cats, Raziel & Sorsha, both former strays picked up from my workplace.
